Team KABOOM’s claim to fame is explosions, both offensive and defensive. Their deliberately downplayed skill with manipulating the arena’s AR technology has given them an edge in the creation of defensive sims rife with explosive traps and mobs. They have also perfected the art of arena spells (especially the ones that explode). While said spells stay within the parameters set forth for LACA’s arsenal of replica weaponry, they are all designed to disproportionately flashy.
Beyond its commitment to the bit, the team favors a somewhat reckless playstyle, which often leaves it in the middle of the pack during arena season. Additionally, while they can field a good half-dozen teams on the season’s opening day, many of those teams will need to be consolidated towards the end of the season to compensate for injuries.
